Dadpe Pohe is a Maharashtrian snack made with flatten rice. Dadpe pohe gets its flavours with the juices released from onion and lime juice. Pohe is not cooked here but just tempered with mustard seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves. The resulting outcome is tangy, spicy and sweet taste which lingers in the mouth for a long time.
Ingredients
2 cups pohe
1 onion finely chopped
Juice of one lemon
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Handful of roasted peanuts
1 tbsp grated coconut
Coriander leaves for garnish
For tempering
