Pan Fried Prawns is a simple & easy to make recipe which needs very few ingredients. It serves as an excellent starter or a snack.

Ingredients
8-10 Big size prawns
1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice
Pinch of chaat masala
Pepper powder (optional)
Coriander to Garnish
Bamboo Skewers
Oil to fry
Procedure
Remove the shells of the prawns & devein them. Marinate with ginger garlic paste, red chilly, salt & keep aside for 30 minutes.
Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 20 minutes. This prevents the skewers from drying while frying on pan.
Now arrange the prawns on the skewers so that the flat side is on the pan.
Heat some oil in the pan. Shallow fry the prawns for 2 minutes on either side. This would keep the prawns moist from inside. Prawns cook very quickly. If overcooked they would get rubbery.
Sprinkle some chaat masala, lemon juice & garnish with coriander leaves. Pepper powder can also be sprinkled for extra spice if needed.
Pan fried prawns are ready to be served. Can be served with mint chutney or ketchup or as it is !!
