Paneer Hariyali Tikka is a starter which is marinated with green masala & then grilled on pan. It is the blend of unique spices which gives this tikka perfect taste. The green paste can be prepared couple of days before to save time.

Ingredients
250 gms paneer
2-3 green chilies
Handful of mint leaves
A small bunch coriander leaves
1 tsp cumin (jeera)
1 1/2 tsp Besan
8-10 cashews
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp ajwain ( carom seeds)
1/2 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp chat masala
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Cubes of green capsicum, onions, tomatoes
Method
In a pan heat 1 tsp of oil. Then add jeera & chopped green chilies. Then roast besan & cashwes on very low flame.Turn off the heat. Then add mint & coriander leaves. Allow this mixture to cool.
In a mixer jar blend the above mixture along with yogurt. Now add salt, ginger garlic paste turmeric, ajwain, Kasuri methi. Mix well.
Marinade for paneer tikka is ready. Cut one inch paneer cubes & let it marinate for 20 minutes,
Soak the wooden skewers in water for sometime. Now arrange the tikkas on the skewers in the order of paneer, onion, tomato, green capsicum. Repeat the order.
Arrange all the veggies on the skewers & grill them on a pan with some oil. Keep turning the sides. Do not overcook the paneer else it gets hard. Sprinkle chat masala before serving. Hariyali Paneer Tikka is ready. It makes excellent starters for any occassion.
