Prawns Sukke is a semi gravy dish made with fresh prawns in aromatic dry roast masala along with fresh coconut.
Ingredients
12-15 medium size prawns
1 chopped onion
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Masala
4-5 dry red chillies
1 cup fresh grated coconut
2-3 tsp coriander seeds
3-4 garlic flakes
5-6 pepper corns
1 inch cinnamom sstick
2 cloves
Method
Clean and devein the prawns.
Dry roast all above & grind it to fine paste.
Heat oil in pan .Add chopped onions. Cover & cook for 5 minutes. Then add the roasted sukke masala saute for a minute. Now add the marinated prawns. Cook for about 5 minutes. Do not overcook prawns as they get chewy.
Prawns Sukke is ready to be served. Tastes well with bhakri or chapati.
