Sunday cannot be a real Sunday without non veg food. After a couple of veg recipes today will share a Chicken recipe.
Ingredients
250 gms Chicken Kheema (Mince)
2 medium onions chopped
1 tomato chopped
1/2 cup semi cooked green peas (optional )
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilly powder
1 bay leaf
6-7 black peppercorns
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp oil
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method
Wash the chicken kheema & marinate it with ginger garlic paste & salt. Keep aside for 30minutes.
Now heat oil in a pan.Add bay leaf, pepper corns, cinnamon in it.Then add chopped onions & tomatoes.Saute till onions become transparent in colour.Add boiled green peas.To this add turmeric & chilly powder & mix well.
Then mix the marinated chicken kheema.Add salt as per taste .Cover & cook for 10-12mins occassionally see that the water is not drained.Some water can be added in between.Tip- Care should be taken that too much water is not added at a time else all the masala will run out.
Chicken kheema does not take much time to get cooked.Then add garam masala to it.
Garnish it coriander leaves.Serve hot .
